Regional Forester Nora Rasure announced restrictions on the use of Explosives and Exploding Targets on National Forest and Grasslands within the Intermountain Region Forests until July 22, 2015.

A portion of the Flume Trail has been closed due to concerns with encroachment on private land. The closed section is adjacent to the new Flume Trailhead, located at the junction of the Massey Meadows road (USFS Rd 031) & the Red Cloud Loop (USFS Rd 018).
