STATELINE COVE AREA CLOSED TO PUBLIC ENTRY
Stateline Cove Area - all National Forest System Lands within 500 feet on either side of the following roads: Forest Service Road (FSR 075, 150). This area is located approximately 4.5 miles north of Manila, Utah.
SWIM BEACH DAY USE AREA CLOSED TO PUBLIC ENTRY
Swim Beach Day Use Area – all National Forest System Lands within 500 feet on either side of the following roads: Forest Service Road (FSR 536). This area is located approximately 4.6 miles north of Manila, Utah.
LINWOOD BAY DISPERSED CAMPING AREAS (GRAVEL PIT) AREAS CLOSED TO PUBLIC ENTRY
Linwood Bay Dispersed Camping Areas- all National Forest System Lands within 500 feet on either side of the following roads: Service Roads FSR’s 071, 365, 801. This area is approximately 4.4 miles north of Manila, Utah.
ROADS CLOSED TO PUBLIC ENTRY
FSR 075; FSR 150; FSR 536; FSR 071; FSR 365; and FSR 801.
PURPOSE:
To provide for public safety due to hazards associated with the COVID-19 virus and to mitigate aquatic invasive species (AIS) entry in high traffic areas known to not utilize state AIS inspection processes.
IMPLEMENTATION:
This Order will be in effect when signed and shall remain in effect through April 22, 2020, unless rescinded earlier by the Forest Supervisor.
A map identifying the above-described areas is attached hereto as Exhibit A, and is made part of this Order.
Violation of the above prohibition(s) is punishable by a fine of not more than $5,000.00 for an individual, or $10,000 for an organization, and/or imprisonment for not more than six (6) months. [Title 16 USC 551, Title 18 USC 3571 (b)(6), Title 18 USC 3581 (b)(7).]
